TabLINKs are found at the top of entry layouts and provide navigation to associated tables. As seen here from left to right, Go To :- notes, messages, loans, NOKs, personal and family histories, menus = clinical and medical tables, discharges, consultations, accounts, finances, referrals, spreadsheets, illustrations and letters.

QuickLINKs are found at the left edge of entry layouts and provide navigation to associated tables. As seen here, Go To :- person, condition and guarantor. Note that empty fields have a QuickLINK with a small white plus sign, which indicates that the QuickLINK will created a new record in that associated file. Fields with purple titles can accept a wide range of inputs ( names, part names, codes, wild-cards, etc ). Also note the small red flake which marks a mandatory field.

Icons These are some typical icons used throughout the database. As seen here from left to right:- record locked, record available in pop-up menu, record flagged, record archived, dial telephone - mobile - fax number, send SMS, launch browser using URL, launch email client using email address, import value, import date, QuickLINKs to letters, illustrations, spreadsheets and templates, show date and time.

Buttons are generally found along the bottom of entry and list layouts. As seen here from left to right:- find records, find within subset, (The small purple find buttons utilize the Search Editor), show and hide selected records, display records via "Select..." pop-up, calculate statistics, save data as spreadsheet, sort records, Report Editor... with small buttons for reporting on sub-tables, Label Editor, mail-merge, print notes, duplicate record, add record, return and / or exit from layout, edit record, delete record.

Selection Dialogs can be used to very quickly find any records in the database. Select... a table you want, start typing, eg, br in the following dialog, and when the required record(s) are listed, key Enter. (or, optionally auto-exit the dialog).
